Does ClickSure Scam People? Unbiased Review

What is ClickSure about? Is it a scam or legitimate? When it comes to building your online brand, you have to pay a lot of attention to your reputation. So if you’re running a news service, you want to make sure that your news reports are timely and factual. If you’re running a review service on your blog, you want to make sure that your reviews are accurate and helpful. Even if you’re promoting or selling something outright on your site, you want that product to be helpful and of good quality.

If not, then eventually your online reputation suffers. That will do a lot of damage to your profitability as well.

So what does the topic of reputation have to do with ClickSure? It’s simple—the reputation of ClickSure is just toxic right now. Are you sure you want to be associated with it at all?

ClickSure Review

Name: ClickSure
Website: www.clicksure.com
Products: Affiliate Marketing
Established: 2012
Cost: Free for affiliates, $10/month for VIP access
Verdict: Legit program and rank at 2/10

What Is ClickSure and How Does It Work?

ClickSure is an online platform that makes it easy for affiliate marketers and advertisers to work together.

Let’s say you’re an affiliate marketer. That is, you want to create a website that convinces people to check out a specific item for purchase. Your website sends the potential customer to the actual vendor, and if they buy something you earn a commission.

One of your problems is finding the vendors to whom you can send potential customers, but ClickSure solves this problem. They have hundreds of products you can check out on just a single platform. However, though they say they have numerous categories of products, basically they offer just 2: E-business & Marketing along with Forex & Investing.

There are no signup fees, and you’re not required to buy something first before you can sell it. The payments to you are made weekly, though you may have to reach a certain level (such as $250) before you can withdraw the commissions you’ve earned.

You’re also offered a chance to be a VIP member, which will cost you $10 a month. This will get you a few ebooks with tips on how to be an effective affiliate marketer. You also get priority support over non-VIP members, and Skype support is available.

Now, what if you’re the vendor? Maybe you have a training course, a program, or even an ebook you want to sell. If that’s the case, then you effectively offer your product to more than 400,000 potential affiliate marketers who can drive people to your website. ClickSure also manages the transactions you have with the affiliate marketers, so you don’t have to keep track of them yourself.

Who Is ClickSure For?

Obviously, it’s for affiliate marketers who want a convenient platform with lots of products to choose from. It’s also for vendors who will appreciate the availability of 400,000 potential marketers who can recommend their products to their own audience.

ClickSure Tools, Training, and Support

These training tools are only available if you pay the monthly $10 for the VIP membership. The same goes for the support, although it’s possible to get some support every now and then when there’s no VIP member jumping the line.

The Good and the Bad

(+) Okay, so on the surface everything looks good. Affiliate marketers, product vendors, and the ClickSure middleman all work together. For the most part, it seems just dandy.

(+) Affiliate marketers will appreciate not being required to pay for anything, yet they have access to thousands of products they can promote. They mostly get paid on time too.

(+) Vendors will also enjoy having so many potential marketers promoting their stuff and driving people to their website. They don’t even have to bother promoting their own stuff themselves too much. Others are doing it for them. So they don’t have to worry about having to rank highly on Google because other websites that promote them are doing that already.

(-) So what’s the catch? The catch is that ClickSure has rightly earned a reputation as the place where scammers sell their stuff. That’s the problem, and it’s a big one. Some have estimated the number of scam products here at about 90%, and that’s actually a generous estimate. Forex is a notoriously scammy industry these days, and so is the online business and marketing industry.

(-) If you’re an affiliate marketer, what will happen is that you’re bound to promote something that’s simply a scam product. That will really damage your blog’s credibility as well as your name too. People will blame you for promoting scam items, and they will then assume that everything you promote is a scam.

(-) ClickSure also offers a 60-day refund policy. Since these are mostly scam products then buyers will make frequent use of the refund policy. If the refund is honored, then you also lose your commission. If it’s not honored, then that’s another black mark for your brand. In fact, some accusations have surfaced that say ClickSure is charging some affiliate marketer accounts with fraudulent refunds so that they don’t have to pay your commissions.

(-) You can, of course, try to find an actual good product among the crappy items here. But there are so few of them that this will take a lot of time. Even if you do find them, you’ll find a lot of competition among other affiliate marketers, who have had the same idea as you did.

(-) Now if you’re a legit vendor, then joining ClickSure will also taint your brand. More and more people equate ClickSure with crappy products. So when potential customers see that you’re selling through ClickSure, they may change their mind about buying what you’re selling.

Joining ClickSure may be a good idea if you’re just in it for a short period of time. Eventually—and this will come sooner than you think—your brand as an affiliate marketer or as a vendor will have a crappy reputation too. At that point, you won’t be able to sell much at all.

As for ClickSure, it earns a paltry 2/10 rating. Its bad reputation is simply too much to overcome. Just avoid it, whether you’re out to promote or sell an item online.

It would probably be better for you to first learn how to create a proper affiliate marketing website by going through a proper training course such as Wealthy Affiliate. That course comes with a more reputable affiliate program too.

Thanks for your take on Clicksure. For me I can’t really see the catch in this product.

It is ought to be Free because there is no major value addition.

They don’t have a chance to survive when Click Bank and amazon are still around.

    Or what do you think?

    • Maxx Tan says:

Yes, ClickSure is just sucking people money away and having the low variety of choices for a marketer or even you found it might just a scam. So I would advise people stay out of this and go for those reputable like Clickbank and Jvzoo.

As an affiliate marketer that is just getting into the business, it really helps to know who the ‘good guys’ are.

As you mentioned online reputation can be broken within a short period of time, if one associates their online business with ‘scam’ products and services.

I tend to look at the affiliate programs that I sign up and see the product history , refunds policy etc.. Glad you gave me an awesome rundown of Clicksure.

Its so sad that some people harm other people’s business just to quick some money. Will be staying away from this.

    • Maxx Tan says:

Thanks Roopesh for dropping by and I really hope this review can reach out to more and more people so that they would not wasting their time trying things that didn’t work.

Let me know if you need a hand from me Roopesh and I’m more that willing to help out.

  • Thelma says:

This is indeed an eye-opener. And to think that I wasn’t even trying to verify their legitimacy before arriving here is quite enlightening. In fact, I came because the site didn’t permit new signups and I just wanted to be sure it’s a global decision (if other intended advertisers were experiencing the same thing) but lo and behold, my business would have been associated with such a scam product arena. Thanks man! But hey, apart from clickbank, do you know of any other network with a good reputation for recruiting affiliates?

    • Maxx Tan says:

Hi Thelma, Thanks for notifying me that the signup of new members no longer valid. Indeed it happened to me as well. I think should be the global decision. Anyways as stated above the cons are more than pros so no point spending time with them. There are many affiliate networks you can choose from, among those popular such as Rakuten, ClickBank, ShareASale, Amazon Associates and Avangate. Choose the one right for you and be a partner with them earning the commission that suits you well.
