LifeWave Summary Review
Founder: David Schmidt
Price: $25 fee for you to start + Various startup packages to choose from, up to $1,499
Best For: People who are gifted in recruiting others to the business.
Summary: Even if LifeWave is a legitimate way to make some money online, this is not the best opportunity to use to reach your most desired financial goals. They are a typical MLM company that necessitates members to be well-versed in recruiting other people to the business itself.
What Is LifeWave?
LifeWave is a qualified MLM or multilevel marketing company, founded way back in 2004. Currently, the business is headquartered in California, USA.
Heading up the company is its Founder and CEO, David Schmidt. According to his corporate bio on the LifeWave website, the company is taking pride that its founder is very much seasoned in business and product development, an experience spanning over 25 years under his belt.
In addition to this, he’s also done extensive research and development work for the US military.
However, please keep in mind that the long years of experience of the people behind MLM companies is not an absolute guarantee that it is to the advantage of its members.
The LifeWave brand is indeed an international success with its products distributed in over 100 countries. Despite all that, the company is experiencing several hurdles and bumps along the way.
The LifeWave Product Line
Besides good and reliable leadership heading a company, the product range is also among the most crucial elements of a business entity.
In the case of MLM businesses, the company ’s inability to properly market its products is disastrous to its interest, the reason being that it will have a hard time convincing most people to join their cause.
In order for us to fully understand the LifeWave business venture, it is paramount that we take a look into their product offerings, too.
LifeWave Healing Patches
“Healing Patches”, these are the so-called flagship product of LifeWave.
These products are widely known yet they are also controversial because the company has made high claims on what they can do to the human body.
These “healing patches” are made using nanotechnology. In their production, there are no drugs or chemicals involved and the elements they utilize in creating them are oxygen, water, and amino acid.
The LifeWave team is making high claims that if you will just stick those circular patches onto different targeted areas of your body, that person can anticipate dramatic health improvements instantly.
Expected health benefits of their healing patches include:
- Enhanced energy
- Improved, restful sleep
- Mitigated stress level
- Improved mental acuity
The company made an assertion that its beneficial impact is not to those 4 aspects only may also provide significant relief from pain, enhanced the burning of body fats, facilitates relaxation and detoxification.
Any person, in the right frame of mind, will certainly agree with me in saying that these claims just can’t be true. Skepticism will surely find its way to a discerning mind.
As I anticipated the moment I learned about the supposed nature of these “healing patches”, I knew right away that they will assert that these products will target the human body’s pressure points to improve its well-being.
Check out this Youtube video I sourced for you. It gives a full explanation of how these “healing patches” work:
Personally, I have not laid my hands on any of those products. But my research about their level of effectiveness on people who had tried them is varying and at the same time subjective, too. Meaning to say, there is a mix of positive and negative reactions to users.
There are people who assert that they experienced significant improvements in their bodies after using the products, and there are also some that say they did not experience anything at all.
We have 2 important facts about these products:
- The sheer absence of drugs, chemicals, and compounds render them safe to use
- These products come in pretty exorbitant price tags, you can get them in 30 patches for $90.
Aside from their “healing patches”, LifeWave is also offering the following product line.
If the vast majority of networking companies are heavy on their skincare lineup products, LifeWave is going the other way around. They have the following niche line of facial products
- Alavida Nightly Restore Facial Crème ($99.95)
- Alavida Regenerating Trio – $199.95
- Alavida Daily Refresh Facial Nectar – $79.95
- Nirvana Mood Enhancer ($179.95)
- CORSENTIALS ($129.95)
- Theta One ($99.95)
- Theta Activate ( $69.95)
How to Get Started with LifeWave?
If you are dead serious in wanting to join LifeWave group and become one of their independent distributors, know that this will have you shell out some good amount of money.
LifeWave membership is valued at $25. Depending on the starter kit you want to have, this may hike up to $1499.95. I say that this networking company saw to it that they have a starter kit for every budget level, as follows:
- Starter: $25
- Bronze: $99.95
- Silver: $299
- Gold: $499
- Platinum: $999
- Diamond: $1,499.95
Individuals aspiring to become LifeWave member may opt to enroll online. However, the system will require you to provide a sponsor ID number.
In the absence of an ID sponsor number, your best course of action is to reach out to their customer care team who will then give you a sponsor ID number for this purpose alone.
In addition to this, LifeWave is also implementing the so-called Monthly Autoship. This means to say you need to keep your independent distributor profile active by keeping designated monthly product purchases.
Otherwise, you will not qualify for any upcoming commissions or bonuses from your sales output.
Now, it is also important that you understand that this is the very reason why people who are engaging in networking companies eventually find themselves in great debt. The MLM system is particularly designed that way, to favor the company’s interest, draw more money from you.
As for the compensation plan for network members, I suggest that you check out this Youtube video. It will help you understand the compensation plan in great details.
Again, I am providing the Youtube video above for educational purposes only. I am not intending to promote the LifeWave business here.
The Ugly Truths About LifeWave Revealed!
Is LifeWave a pyramid scheme? Lawsuit after Lawsuit
Over the years, LifeWave on several occasions has found itself embroiled in a legal quagmire. Perhaps the most common complaint about has something to do with LifeWave scam claims. One of the many legal battles it had with one of its biggest competitors in the market is Jeunesse. There is no reason for me go into the elaborate details of these cases, but these pages will be of help on that.
It is not really unusual when MLM-companies are plagued by lawsuits. Often, they are complained as being a pyramid scheme in disguise of an MLM business model. Or at times, the law-enforcement agencies have to go after them due to prohibited marketing practices, and so on.
Lack of Transparency
Go and try to search out the Web for LifeWave’s income disclosure statement, would you happen to find any? None of those, right? There is nothing to be found about it.
The Income Disclosure Statement or IDS is the official document required by the law from MLM companies to produce for the benefit of their network members and those aspiring to join the company.
This document will give interested parties a rough idea about the possible income expectations one can have from this particular networking firm.
If LifeWave is deliberately keeping this important document out of reach by the public, that alone raises a shadow of doubt about their integrity and credibility as a company. Therefore, you need to think of your decision a hundredfold before you even join.
In all honesty, would you be interested in buying their Energy-Enhancing Patches which they labeled as $89.95 for 30 patches?
They also have this Facial Cream valued at $99.95, and there is also another variant which can be purchased at $79.95. Bottom line is, there is no denying to the fact that these products are pretty darn expensive right?
For their products, we can give them the benefit of the doubt, they might be very potent, who knows until we had our hands on them to try.
As for their Starter Kits, say the Diamond Starter Kit valued at $1,499? Who in the right frame of mind would buy that these days? I am not some crazy lunatic to do that.
What I do Like About LifeWave?
Impressive Track Record of the Company
For the sake of being fair to the LifeWave team, they have a couple of impressive feats over the span of time they are in business.
For 3 years straight, in 2009-2011, the company was included in the 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies. (Source: PR Newswire )
Their product offerings as far as I am concerned were tested under 60 clinical studies in a span of 3 years of research.
Is LifeWave a Scam?
No. I would never qualify LifeWave as a scam, they may have some gray areas in as far as the business itself is concerned. But all business organizations are like that.
What they are is a legitimate business offering opportunities to interested parties (individuals) with clinically tested product lines and help them earn some money via their compensation plan.
But even so, I wouldn’t encourage anyone to join this networking company and I have several good reasons for that. First of all, the products are pretty darn expensive and yet people who tried them before attest that they did not experience anything dramatic.
If there is anything they were able to observe after patronizing LifeWave products for some time, it is that they now have thinner wallets.
It is also important to understand that LifeWave is a typical networking company. Meaning to say you're necessitated to make use of the traditional way of recruiting others to become the members of your downline network. This may include your friends and family members.
Above everything else, their startup cost is way too expensive for many people.
Unless you really see yourself as someone who's got a good flair at networking and recruiting people is not something you are worried about, then LifeWave might be a good opportunity to consider but not the best.
This brings me now to the more exciting part of this review, my best recommendation.
How I Make Money Online?
When you fully understand how the MLM business model really works, you will agree with me in saying that this particular business structure is not the best vehicle to use to reach your goal of financial wellness.
Multilevel marketing is favoring so much the company itself and it's business interests, oblivious of the fact that it also needs to promote the interest of its network members as well. So forget everything about MLMs.
If you are seriously looking for the best online money making opportunity, I suggest that you try marketing affiliate instead. As an individual who’s already tried both the MLM and affiliate marketing worlds, I know that I am in the position to really tell which one is the far better option.
- You don’t need to recruit to get ahead
- A chance to earn bigger money
- No complicated compensation plans
- Commissions can get as high as 100%
- You are not required to buy starter kits
- No joining fees
- Work at your own pace
- Promote any product or brand you like to a global audience
- A chance to promote products or brand you are passionate about
- Make money while you sleep
