What is Survey Junkie about? Is Survey Junkie A Scam? Read my honest review here. There are a lot of various ways to earn money on the internet. Many of them lure you in with the promise of huge sums of money in just a short amount of time and basically doing nothing to earn it.
While some these claims do sound fishy, many still get intrigued because of the flowery words these online marketers and businessmen use. In order to help you weed out the legitimate ones and those that are only meant to scam you, I’m going to review one of the most popular online income programs today: Survey Junkie.
Survey Junkie is one of those that claim that all you have to do is answer a number of surveys and you can easily earn money. A brief observation on this program tells you that it’s not a scam because they don’t ask you for fees immediately upon signing up like most scams do.
On top of that, they don’t make outrageous claims about the money you will earn from their program. They are not talking about “getting rich” or “earning $20,000 every week,” and that is something we surely can appreciate. But is Survey Junkie really a legit service? Let’s find out.
Survey Junkie Quick Review
What Is Survey Junkie?
Name: Survey Junkie
Products: Survey Programs
Overall Rank: 3 out of 10
Fee: Free to Join
Status: Legit But NOT RECOMMENDED
What is Survey Junkie and how does it work?
Survey Junkie is a website that promises to help you get paid for taking surveys. You can find this program by going to SurveyJunkie.com, where they claim that they are “the most popular spot online for earning cash and rewards for sharing your thoughts.”
Launched in October of 2005, they have allegedly amassed over 4,000,000 members who earn extra income just by answering various surveys and sharing their honest opinions.
Of course, this all sounds fun and exciting, because you don’t even have to work hard and voila! You are earning money. But wait, what’s the catch?
Let’s back up a bit. Before you earn this promised cash and rewards, you have to go to Survey Junkie’s website and sign up for an account for free. In order to create an account, you have to be at least 18 years old and residing in the US, Canada, or Australia.
A necessary part in the process of signing up to be a member of some program is providing some personal information (aside from a username and password of your choice) to complete your profile, including your age, contact details, and consumer preferences. Using these pieces of information, the program is going to match you with companies that will give you surveys to answer.
So is this now the time you are going to get your money? Not yet. Apparently, Survey Junkie doesn’t pay you actual money in exchange for answering these surveys. Instead, you earn points in your account that you can save until you get a substantial amount.
Then you can deposit these points into your PayPal account or be claimed in the firm of e-cards/e-gift cards. This is when the points turn into cash, once you redeem it through these options.
Now, let’s discuss how you earn points and how much its cash equivalent is. You will be pleased to learn that by simply completing the information needed for your profile, you will earn 25 points. Different surveys will earn you points ranging from 50 to 450, depending on how long it will take you to answer them.
Every 1000 points you earn will get you $10 in cash when you redeem it. Going with this information, it’s quite obvious that you are not going to get rich from taking these surveys, and they don’t make this claim either. According to Survey Junkie, you will earn about $1 to $3 from one completed survey.
That might not be what you want to hear, but at least they are honest about it.
However, members have figured out that Survey Junkie is only after your personal information so they can market products and services to you depending on your consumer interests.
To be clear, yes, they will sell your information to companies. And before you even get a survey to answer, you will have to qualify for one. And based on members’ experiences, you almost never do.
Who is Survey Junkie for?
While Survey Junkie is primarily for marketing purposes, you can definitely use it to earn some extra money. We’re emphasizing on “extra” though, because, as we have already established here, you won’t get rich from taking surveys from their website. Survey Junkie is for people who already have a regular 9 to 5 job but want to do something on their free time that at least earns them a few bucks. It’s not an opportunity to get rich online.
The Good & the Bad

(-) They don’t have any available customer support information on the website.
Finally, after reading this you have a better idea on Survey Junkie Program. They are legitimate but of course NOT RELIABLE from the point of my view. Some people might think this is better easy, just filled up the survey each of every day. Sit back and wait for the payout.
Of course, they are paying real rewards to their members and show that program has a strong history since 2005. Here the things, It’s a tough job to earn to the threshold in order the fund into your account.
Frankly, there are legitimate they are more survey programs out there. And pay better to members. But definitely not Survey Junkie. Look at their pay-out. Perhaps you can try out and of course, don’t expect to earn much from survey programs.
Your time and energy better invested elsewhere, my friend.
Alternatively, you may join more than ONE survey programs for better qualifying and opportunities.
