How Does The Google Sniper Work?
Like most of the affiliate marketing courses available online, there is a fee charged for people who would like to learn Brown’s supposed ‘money-making secret.’ In this regard, the initial investment is $47 for the product. This consists of 25 training videos and an e-book with more than 100 pages.
But since the program is too complex that those videos and e-book won’t be able to impart everything you need to know, you can sign up for the Sniper X which entails an additional training fee of $47 a month.
In Google Sniper, members are taught how to look for a profitable niche, which would be the subject or topic of their websites. Niche websites are those that cater to a narrow group of people or specific audience. These are websites that can generate traffic and income to their owners.
An example of a niche website is one that sells bicycle parts. A website featuring reviews of scopes is also another example. Brown calls niche websites as Google Sniper sites.
Google Sniper not only helps members in researching profitable niches. It also assists them in finding good keyword sets as well as products that go along well with the niche websites.
It also aids members in choosing Clickbank products that they want to promote in their websites. Members generate income from the commissions that their websites get in promoting the said products.
To give you a better idea on how Google Sniper works, the following are some of the major sections of Google Sniper’s member’s area:
- Empire Module— this is where members outsource different jobs required in building a site, from article writing, blog and plugin installation, to back linking for higher search engine rankings.
- Rolodex—this section has additional resources that can help members in making more money online.
- Sniper X—this is a bonus section that contains Q&A webinars with Mr. Brown. There are also videos available that discuss the latest strategies that members should employ to get higher traffic for their niche websites. Members will have to pay an extra $47 a month to get access to this section.
Who Is Google Sniper For?
Google Sniper appears to be built for affiliate marketing neophytes who would like to know more about getting:
Google Sniper Tools & Training
As mentioned earlier, the program offers a combination of text based training and video training to its members. There are 25 videos that members can watch, aside from the 101-page e-book.
Google Sniper Support
Members who are lost or confused can ask the Google Sniper support desk about topics or issues they would like to clarify.
The Good & the Bad
Pro #1: It is designed to even for people who have little knowledge of web development and affiliate marketing.
Pro #2: Once the website has been set-up, owners don’t have to tweak their websites every now and then.
Con #1: There’s no free trial offered. You’ll have to pay $47 for the product, aside from the monthly fee of $47 for additional training.
Con #2: Perhaps the biggest issue about Google Sniper is that it has become outdated. While Brown does release updates from time to time, it is still heavily reliant on certain old techniques.
For instance, it puts too much value on exact match domains (EMD) which Google no longer puts the premium on. It may have been useful in getting higher website SEO rankings five or six years ago; but not so these days. The bottom line is web owners still have to produce relevant content for their websites to rank high on Google.
Con #3: You can build your own website with the help of the program but you will have to pay for your own domain and hosting. This adds up to the amount of investment you will have to shell out for your online business.
Con #4: The support is very minimal. Mr. Brown himself won’t walk your hand through this system.
Con #5: There are many online reviews indicating that the company doesn’t fulfill its 60-day money back guarantee.
My Final Opinion of Google Sniper
Google Sniper may have been a hit back in 2009, but the truth is that its heydays are clearly behind it.
Google has become very stringent when it comes to ranking websites that the techniques used by Google Sniper may no longer be enough for a blog to rank highly on the search engine.
Also, the lack of support has continued to be a concern for many members. For a program that charges a fee of $47, you would expect that it offers more support to its members. Instead, members get the token support in the form of a customer support desk that replies typically within 1 to 2 business days.
Indeed, Google Sniper is no longer that hot as an affiliate marketing program.
So what’s the hottest thing in affiliate marketing programs today?
